现已发现各类矿点100余处、30多种，探明储量的矿种有15种，特别是前景看好的钛铁矿、石墨矿，稀土（镧、铈）、金和石灰石、石膏、芒硝、花岗岩、煤炭及共生的油页岩等金属、非金属和能源燃料资源的综合开发和利用前景广阔，有利于发展特色矿产业。

    The mineral resources with more varieties and large reserves have been founded in the City. According to the geological survey, about 30 species of the mineral resources and over 100 mineral spots have been discovered, including ferrous metals (iron, manganese, titanium and vanadium), non-ferrous metals (copper, nicks, zinc and so on), rock-gold and rock-silver, rare-earth metal, energy-resources (coal and oil-shale), phosphorous, barite, sulphideiron, chemical raw materials, construction materials. All the mineral resources supply the good conditions for developing the characteristic mineral industries.

    全市192.24万人口中有各类劳动力资源107.5万人，在农村的劳动力资源占72%。在劳动力资源中，城镇有待失业人员4.8万人，农村有剩余劳动力28万人。有利于发展劳动密集型产业、农业产业化及城镇社区服务等第三产业。

Among the labouring resource are 48.000 of unemployment in the urban, 280.000 of the surplus labouring persons in the rural, which are favorable to developing the labouring-condensing industry, agricuture and the third industry.
